World's Fastest Shopping Cart by Ryan McFarland

What a useless but funny gadget, but still... people invent these. This invention of Ryan McFarland (also known as Lord of the Homeless) is made especially for those who likes sports and shopping but have no free time for both. The secret is simple: the inventor took the front tire off his bike and replaced it with a shopping cart. So now you can enjoy outdoor sports! More than that, this funny construction looks very sweet and raises yours spirits and those of surrounding people.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyZGwoJmlprliQg0olrtPMMXLY7gOVaAgAZtIFqOuInTud6LR1X5bxZ76R02LqDUzmqBVwMfh9UCDa1y2xHteMxmoKVrYc8TyHUPfHDctkThuuaJkbGfVBuT2rPWgdX4c9ZUJKczre5kI/s1600/17.jpg

This simple gadget makes it possible to haul big amounts of products that you usually purchase in the market. Though the cart is in front of the bike it doesn't limit your view. It is also important to mention that the steering is limited that makes it possible to keep the balance and not fall over. So you can begin learning to ride the bike with this one and don't be afraid of a wonky wheel.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYP7drUgHNnyOZGfXlj92vEQhibamlXMW1TmDSaEX3RsUUpxMbP33rAFcCLRMIPQFeBrIIW9qENAGc2AE8bDwM846J1XXdtNLNKKKiIIV8716yp5c5p13rNVGfn1BBc_JTMGNlX4HtdqA/s1600/shopping-cart-bike.jpg

You can take it with you on a picnic. Just imagine: a whole family riding these gadgets. Healthy, funny and comfortable! So I can propose a name for such invention: Healthy body & Healthy soul!

I could also advise those people who travel around the world by bikes to use this invention of Lord of the Homeless, because the cart can hold a lot of things that are necessary for this kind of trip but you will say no to it when you ride it for the first time. GadgetReview

The Most Used Shortest Word in English

the English language might enjoy this. It is yet another example of why people learning English have trouble with the language. Learning the nuances of English makes it a difficult language. (But then, that's probably true of many languages.)

There is a two-letter word in English that perhaps has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that word is 'UP.'

It is listed in the dictionary as being used as an [adv], [prep], [adj], [n] or [v].

It's easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP?

At a meeting, why does a topic come UP ? Why do we speak UP, and why are the officers UP for election and why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report? We call UP our friends and we use ! it to brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver, we warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen. We lock UP the house and some guys fix UP the old car.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6pR4ADblZ42tphge-J8oESRz0F6kH678ynIIs1SfS9a50_CnG76XtLBMyHjAs_QSExhkApVbz_nBEXR8KBi6D0KeRrZwZhijkK5Wdku7qFV3UIuVG9qKXxZhyPgqb7HzmQtGg28a1AG2l/s1600/up.jpg

At other times the little word has a real special meaning. People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses.

To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed UP is special.

And this UP is confusing: A drain must be opened UP because it is choked UP.

We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night. We seem to be pretty mixed UP about UP !

To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of UP , look the word UP in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4 of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions

If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may wind UP with a hundred or more.

When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP . When the sun comes out we say it is clearing UP. When it rains, it wets UP the earth. When it does not rain for awhile, things dry UP.

One could go on & on, but I'll wrap it UP , for now........ my time is UP, so time to shut UP!

Oh...one more thing:
What is the first thing you do in the morning & the last thing you do at night?
U P

Don't screw UP. Send this on to everyone you look UP in your address book. Now, I'll shut UP.

World’s Largest Ice-Cream Cake

Yesterday, Canadian company Dairy Queen has set a new world record by making the world’s largest ice-cream cake in Yonge and Dundas Square, Toronto.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ffeHHax5K5OGFfsuPmAbbrb5ew4BPcHa8GRsfXTnQokVl86uXdElOKW5SoAroL67QX0uMNlA3eX-w7sBi1NNBqgbSLrtk_-_KZKYma10qEWeWZmb-9GkNO4blaJIf7IMXqd90cWAYFI/s1600/1.jpg

It took 100 people over a year to plan the event, but after 30 years and 52 million ice-cream cakes sold, this was the perfect way to celebrate, according to Denise Hutton, vice-president of marketing at Dairy Queen Canada. Dozens of chefs worked around the clock using over 9,000 kg of ice-cream, 91 kg of sponge cake, around 136 kg of icing and Oreo crumbles, to beat the former world record, a nearly 8,000 kg ice-cream cake made by China, in 2006.

After the cake was completed and acknowledged by the Guinness Book of Records, pieces of it were served to the crowd gathered in Yonge and Dundas Square, with 100% of suggested donations going to Children’s Miracle Network. “When else can eating ice cream cake help to fund medical care, research and educational programs so that Canadian kids have access to world-class care? It’s the best of all worlds – a delicious treat and a great cause.” said the charity’s Paul Lethbridge.

World’s Most Expensive Popsicle

Marquis Los Cabos luxury resort, in Baja California Sur, Mexico, offers its guests the most exclusive popsicle they’ve ever tasted, priced at 1,000 US dollars.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiGD8DKFnMyjKWZY3BpTZY77YeTP_Mj3677CG57zaneeJCJo0hGk5vlHM7Mv090ASX4UtFdjA6R_8J4Gn1X0XdnlmfxE9cY26e_rprxwTOoqKuxBhkBtpADGBwYS6Rlm778DuxaCRma00/s1600/gold-popsicle.jpg

So what makes a simple popsicle cost so much money, apart from the chance to savor poolside in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Well, rich people tend to have a soft spot for gold, so the world’s most expensive popsicle contains 24 carat gold and Tequilas Premium Clase Azul Ultra, a special brand of tequila which sells for $1,500 a bottle. The frozen treat is served poolside, on a classic plastic stick, with some gold chocolate coins. Although salt would have been much more appropriate for a tequila popsicle, this one contains sugar, to take the edge off.

If you don’t have a sweet tooth and real gold flakes don’t impress you enough to throw a whole grand on a popsicle, the guys at Marquis Los Cabos will gladly serve you a simple shot of Tequilas Premium Clase Azul Ultra for a mere $500.

World's Smallest Car Made By Perry Watkins

World's smallest car made by British inventor Perry Watkins, the “Wind Up” measures just 41 inches high, 51 inches long and 26 inches wide and is now listed in the Guinness Book of World Records with a license to drive on public streets. It can drive 37 miles per hour and even has seat belts.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCFMIfIYtYzQeXTLLIsbzbT-gQbnGTg-ghjDiauCCo7b50YfiLsU1CNUpZCthTEWsMHeEWJX1Nr8JuhrCGQMqlRD6jC3BcrSRldgJSjwGh76mVMMcyHdDcEw7OHUcf5V8_0kSafqmHuw/s400/101108-wind-up-car-7a.grid-8x2.jpg

Watkins used a coin-operated children's ride, which he repainted, for the body and repurposed a chassis from a Shanghai Shenke quad bike. He used rear tires and wheels from a Honda Monkey motorcycle. The front wheels were custom-made to fit tires from a 1939 Brockhouse Corgi paratrooper’s mini motorcycle. Watkins has even affixed a revolving key to the back of the car to give it the appearance of a wind-up toy.

Watkins is not new to building odd vehicles; he has also invented the “Flatmobile,” the world’s lowest car.

The Widest Mouth on the Planet

Francisco Domingo Joaquim, a 20-year-old man from Angola, has a shockingly elastic mouth. It’s so stretchy, in fact, that Joaquim has earned a Guinness World Record for possessing the widest mouth on the planet.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLlhpQsRXx1rGwtSYJq7fecqfZ8MDkictxzTgAyh9urTqgMEHciyHxfudANNLDbstVJSizGEoOQKKCZHN6YY7rehLCrPvjS6oj0GBEdmj0kupQAgXzqMcJwWmGct9ULhW1-VKwADH3INH5/s1600/wbwebgmk.jpg

The word “wide” almost fails to do this mouth justice. It measures 17 centimeters — 6.69 inches — across. Joaquim, also known as “Chiquinho,” can fit an entire soda can in there — sideways! — with ease. Not only that, he’s got enough room to spare that he can even spin the can with his tongue and quickly pop the can in and out of his mouth.

Talent-scouting Guinness World Record researchers discovered Chiquinho’s special abilities and almost swooned when they had an opportunity to measure his gaping maw. Chiquinho’s jaw seems to unhinge, python-like, exposing rows of straight white teeth.

QTvan Caravan, World's Smallest Caravan

It can be towed by a mobility scooter, measures just 2m by 75cm and is being suggested as a way of bagging a spot for the Royal Wedding… meet the world's smallest caravan. Despite the diminutive measurements the £5,500 QTvan caravan still boasts a full-sized bed, a 19 inch television, a drinks cabinet and tea making facilities.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbenaGRWRuVZlOPSiduhw18MD0qqMnrqAF9k47eCUkx3TcnD91Hm1wLSHv4Ql9LH0o8IyjlhwHH-Pm9WSB-egXX28pJts0Hlr2GKnBVhqUqm0HvYgZttSrtGMNkllRqksJ6paUig3J_i4/s1600/QTvan2.jpg

Optional extras include solar roof panels, a SKY TV satellite dish, a games console, extra-wide wing mirror for mobility scooter and custom paint jobs. And makers say the mini caravan is so small that if you need anything else, you could even tow it into a supermarket… though don't expect to get there too quickly, it has a top speed of 6mph.

A spokesperson for the firm said: "Elderly spectators hoping to bag the best spot on the Royal Wedding procession route, but unwilling to spend a night camping on the pavement, can now buy a caravan designed to be towed by a mobility scooter.

"The QTvan is the world’s most environmentally-friendly caravan. Using a conventional caravan for a ‘staycation’ within Britain remains a relatively green way of taking a holiday.

"But if the electricity used to charge the mobility scooter is bought from a green provider, the QTvan is entirely carbon neutral." Developed by Environmental Transport Agency (ETA), the caravan was designed to highlight the 220,000 people who use a mobility scooter without breakdown cover.

Chapultepec Park, Largest City Park in Latin America

Chapultepec Park, more commonly called the “Bosque de Chapultepec” (Chapultepec Forest) in Mexico City, is the largest city park in Latin America measuring in total just over 686 hectares.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8527GaM_qXYt2U2Q9fJYJVeCNTFWWEJrL7BZ-3MOYjIaVIntoO3L-4MVjr29DpxdMlvbZPmhWwn2evMHMyU8wtF7oWJTaNk8SLiYBMEhJ0F8YDneVgaKfn-fHtcloJOyQyPhBY0DYrV5u/s1600/www.mobikorner.com%E2%80%93+Mexico-park.jpg

Centered on a rock formation called Chapultepec Hill, one of the park’s main functions is to be an ecological space in the vast megalopolis. It is considered the first and most important of Mexico City’s “lungs,” with trees that replenished oxygen to the Valley of Mexico.

The park area has been inhabited and held as special since the pre-Hispanic period, when it became a retreat for Aztec rulers. In the colonial period, the Chapultepec Castle would be built here, eventually becoming the official residence of Mexican heads of state.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPfGNkS_cUq-eqT4dZlIkp2U7tkalWxkBSRy2qGjSE6-wYtWP4jVwD0dzFak2zkxZQxnJdmtez00kEKjE1HuO88TAW9svskHokjqRgWLh7i12qN-Ax05-BWdHeLBGUHYVz2kUdNkZvooI/s1600/3729846-Travel_Picture-Mexico_City.jpg

It would remain such until 1940, when it was moved to another part of the park called Los Pinos. Today, the park is divided into three sections, with the first section being the oldest and most visited. This section contains most of the park’s attractions including its zoo, the Museum of Anthropology, Rufino Tamayo Museum and more.

http://cdn.wn.com/pd/94/98/27b47088815144ccbae7dfb6cb21_grande.jpg

It receives an estimated 15 million visitors per year. This prompted the need for major rehabilitation efforts which began in 2005 and ended in 2010.

World's Biggest Barbeque Grill

“An engineer has spent three months and $12,800 creating the world’s largest barbecue which weighs two tonnes and measures a whopping 16ft across. The gargantuan BBQ – understandably dubbed ‘God-grilla’ – is so big makers say it could be used to simultaneously cook 1,000 sausages, 500 burgers or (if you prefer) two whole cows.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZ56gTMYSsZ2ry5oSdGWaU8DsP8tofXl7hkp0CbVaj-8ljhdKaganuhh3PlWFbpjdj2cpUQwP2DUC1K-FzQwQASOXiB08T4yXYDwutU3HInn5mW3wJR7Ec6JyNYeuxFx_fgIIgir0TF112/s320/OykuaEvS8D.jpg

It’s the brainchild of 31-year-old Jack Henriques who runs the Bespoke BBQ Company and says he already has plans to make a bigger one. However you might want to think about it before ordering one to outdo your neighbors… it takes 14 bags of coal to ignite and can heat up to 500 degrees centigrade.” Uniquedaily

Smallest Playable Drumset

At the Kansas City Mini Maker Faire, Taylor Jessee introduced me to his one of his latest creations, the Mini Drumset. Dissatisfied with plastic miniatures that look authentic but lack the full sound of real drums, he decided to design his own.

He spent lots of time perfecting the snare sound with multiple layers of wrap, wire, and sugar, and finding the appropriate materials to produce a good symbol crash- in this case, a sawed-off candlestick holder. Walowa
